Community Group Opportunities

We know that your group enjoys hands-on projects and wishes to be a part of the results! We can organize and provide your group with the wonderful opportunity of seeing impact first hand. Your church group, sorority, or reading club can help Esperanza!

Your group can:

Host a mailing party.
Help with gardening.
Paint classrooms.
Help improve CILA homes.

Group Projects	Is your company, school or group looking for a volunteer project? Come make a world of difference! Esperanza is looking for groups of 10 to 20 people to clean, paint or landscape throughout the year.	HOURS: One-time volunteer project 4 – 6 hours CONTACT: Volunteer Coordinator for more information at (312) 243 -6097 x 17.

Our gardens need help!	Esperanza School offers vocational training to our students, including landscaping and gardening. Our students have planted a butterfly garden, and have worked on other landscaping projects on Esperanza grounds. This year, they are taking on new projects, and we need help with garden maintenance. So if you have a few hours a week to help keep our garden weed-free, looking good, trimmed and maintained, we can really use your help! Some gardening experience preferred.	We need people who are available weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for 1-2 hours per week.
